Shore draws its palette from the coastline. A deep teal blue forms the main body, complemented by rich brown, navy blue and earthy olive. Together, these colours create a palette that feels calm, refreshing and quietly adventurous.

Made By Hand

Each Elsewhere journal is made after your order is placed. To give every piece the time and attention it deserves, orders are accepted in small weekly batches. Once this week’s batch is full, ordering will reopen with the next batch.

Each cover is carefully cut, hand stitched, bevelled, burnished and polished, while the flesh side of the leather is smoothed and slicked for a refined finish inside and out.

As each piece is made by hand, slight variations may occur.

Leather

Every Elsewhere journal is crafted from Badalassi Carlo leather, produced by a family-run tannery in Tuscany, Italy.

Traditionally vegetable-tanned using natural tannins derived from plants, the leather softens and develops a richer patina with time and use.

As a natural material, each hide will vary slightly in grain, markings and character.

Care
Avoid prolonged exposure to water and excessive heat. If needed, use a conditioner suitable for vegetable-tanned leather occasionally to nourish the leather and maintain its appearance.
