Every Elsewhere wallet is handcrafted in small weekly batches, allowing each piece to receive the time, care and attention that handcrafted leatherwork deserves.
Using traditional saddle stitching — a time-honoured technique renowned for its strength and durability — each wallet is carefully cut, bevelled, burnished and finished by hand.
Every detail is completed slowly and thoughtfully, creating a wallet designed to be carried and enjoyed for years to come.
Because each wallet is handcrafted, slight variations are part of what makes every piece unique.
Leather
Every Elsewhere Wallet is crafted from Badalassi Carlo leather, produced by a family-run tannery in Tuscany, Italy.
Using traditional vegetable tanning methods and natural tannins derived from plants rather than chrome, the leather develops a rich patina with time and use, becoming softer and more personal with every journey.
As a natural material, every hide has its own unique grain, markings and character, making each journal one of a kind.
Care
To keep your wallet looking its best, avoid prolonged exposure to water and excessive heat. If desired, apply a conditioner suitable for vegetable-tanned leather occasionally to nourish the leather and maintain its appearance.
